The base project of Equal eLearning was awarded in Handinnov contestHandinnov is a French contest which rewards projects and innovations which affect positively on the lives of young disabled people and help them to adapt to education, working life and society. Because of the EU Presidency of France in 2008 the contest was arranged on European level and Eevertti, the Finnish base project of Equal eLearning transfer of innovation, is one of the 22 awardees. The contest is arranged by ONISEP (French National Office for Information on Education and Professions), European Disability Forum (EDF:n) and DROIT AU SAVOIR (Right To Learning). The awards were delivered in Paris in 27th of November 2008 and our diploma was received by the coordinator of Equal eLearning project, Ms. Mirja Niskala. The official delivery of awards happened at the European Education Fair and the invitation jubilee was held at the National Assembly. The ceremonies included also receptions with the Mayor of Paris and with the Minister of State for Solidarity and a reception at the Elysée with Councellor of the French President.
